Masonry

Masonry restoration, preservation, and rehabilitation are at the heart of what we do at Phoenix Restoration. This specialized knowledge has made us the trusted partner for some of the most prestigious and challenging masonry projects in the province.

Our team possesses deep expertise in masonry wall systems and is skilled in working with a variety of materials including brick, terra cotta, concrete blocks, cast stone, and natural stones like limestone, granite, sandstone, and marble.

Notable projects include the careful lifting of 2,500-pound limestone blocks at Union Station, the Roman cast reproduction and installation for the perimeter wall at Casa Loma and complex masonry repairs on 18 floors of the Ellen Fairclough Building — just to name a few.

We regularly collaborate with school boards across southern Ontario and are involved in masonry and stone cladding projects with municipal and institutional clients throughout the province. Often these projects are on busy, user-occupied buildings in crowded downtown locations.

We have developed unique systems for this method of construction to protect the health and safety of tenants and the public and to ensure the building remains operational at all times.
