Historical Restoration

Phoenix Restoration has proudly pioneered the field of heritage restoration in Canada. In operation since the 1980's, we are Ontario’s longest running heritage restoration contractor under the same continuous management.

Canada’s historic places and buildings are a source of pride for Canadians. At Phoenix Restoration, we are grateful to have earned the right to serve Canadians by preserving some of the most culturally significant sites in the nation including Toronto’s Union Station, Casa Loma, and Osgoode Hall, just to name a few.

Our projects span National Historic Sites, UNESCO sites, and more. As a result, we have become the first choice building restoration professional for government agencies. We are known for our stringent compliance with Canada’s conservation principles and guidelines and understand that historical restoration projects require intensive research, planning and execution by experts for the building to stay true to the era from which it originated.

Our in-house historical masonry, woodwork, plaster, glazing, coatings and metalwork teams know how important it is to retain character-defining elements and ensure that every restoration is handled with the utmost respect for the building’s original era and character-defining elements.

They are overseen by our project managers, project coordinators, safety officers and quality control champions, many of which are members of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals.

Together, we take immense pride in safeguarding Canada’s most treasured buildings, ensuring they continue to stand as a testament to our nation’s history for generations to come. Contact us today to learn more or to discuss your project.
